UNIDO

In 2007, the United Nations Industrial Development Organization hired me to create a 20 minute film documenting the Gulf of Guinea Large Marine Ecosystem project or GCLME. Centered in Accra, Ghana, the GCLME coordinates scientific research that is used to shape environmental management policy for the 16 countries that border the gulf.

I flew to location on the west coast of Africa to film industrial and artisanal fishing communities as well as Vienna, Austria to interview the Director General of UNIDO, Kandeh Yumkella. The film has been screened in France, Egypt, Brazil, China, South Africa, and the Netherlands.

In 2011, I was rehire by UNIDO to consult with a re-edit of the film to update it for a re-screening at the United Nations Conference on Sustainable Development in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil in 2012. The two videos to the left represent the opening and closing of the piece. If you are interested in viewing the entire film via DVD, please, contact me.

NOAA

In 2008, NOAA, the National Oceanic Atmospheric Administration, hired me to document the restoration of Gooseneck Cove, a saltwater marsh located in Newport, Rhode Island. I created a short film for public viewing in the City of Newport's Town Hall.

SKEF

In 2007, As a board member of the South Kingstown Educational Fund, I created a database-driven web site for the organization.

The site is authored in Drupal. SKEF members access and create new content from a secure content management interface. I host the site and perform month backups on both its static content and database.
